As the residents struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and find a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest. The town set was built specifically for the series on the North Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia. The site known as Beaver Bank Villa has a long history and over the years it has housed residences, a community hall, fire station, school, church, convenience store and more.

And it’s so annoying
You are walking right into the same trap. None of the characters communicate with each other or share what is happening in the city. They seem to have suddenly become clueless and are deliberately withholding important information that could help us understand what is going on.
So writers and producers, don’t screw this one up either
Also, something new happens in every episode but it’s never explained. I’ve watched 14 episodes so far and nothing has been cleared up – just like Lost.
