Tale
An up-and-coming chef and a recently divorced woman find their lives changed forever when a chance encounter brings them together in a deeply emotional romance that spans a decade. Is It a SinWritten by Al HazanStarred by Allie HazanI went to see this movie at a free screening.
I wanted to like this movie but it felt disjointed
I had high hopes for it because the two leads are phenomenal actors. Most movies where something mysterious/emotional happens, there’s a build-up.
You feel connected to them
You get to know the characters. In this case, there wasn’t that build-up.
It was hard to really feel anything about what’s happening
I’m also not a fan of movies where they stitch together multiple timelines that come and go. Especially when there’s little to tell you what timeline you’re watching.
This movie was meant for Netflix, not the big screen
